Allplast is ‘still going strong with the production of bullet resistant laminates for prisons. Recently laminates have been produced to upgrade a prison in Slovakia.
On 5 July, Allplast was selected by the Chamber of Commerce to be included in the TOP-100 most innovative SME companies in the Netherlands.
The employees at Allplast have worked hard the last 18 months to develop and commercialise a new tactical ballistic shield, designed for police and intervention teams.

General Major Peter Dohmen, Director Logistic Companies, Material and Organisation (DMO) dept. and Brigadier General Gerard F. Koot Direction Plans of the Dutch Ministry of Defence, and Mr. Roald Bol, CEO of Allplast B.V. Tholen, today signed a three years agreement under the Codemo subsidy project for the development of thinner and lighter armoured glazing from transparant plastics.
Since a few months ago Allplast has again been involved in selling plate materials from stock, in cooperation with a number of well-known European manufacturers of, amongst other things, PC, PET-G and PMMA plate material.
Allplast and VDL Wientjes have started a production for one of VDL’s customers in the last quarter of this year. It regards a various series of curved and colored acrylate displays.

On 29 June, Allplast was able to present itself at the national Officieren-dag der Genie, at the Prinses Margriet Kazerne in Wezep, to many officers and policymakers within the army.
Just after the end of the summer holidays the two renewed depots of Allplast in Tholen have been completely finished. In the previous 8 weeks the old storage was stripped down completely and demolished in collaboration with Laageinde BV and construction company Weggemans.
Besides producing bullet-proof laminates and ballistics Shields, for a while now Allplast has been processing amongst other things glass fibre and carbon fibre materials, using hand lay-up technique and autoclave processing to create fine end products.
